Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Rehabilitation setting, requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Outpatient Rehabilitation department setting
• 12-week assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Meditech charting system experience required
• Travelers are expected to float within the hospital as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• PT license required if applicable
• Meditech charting experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across a range of orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and pediatric conditions
• Utilizes a wide range of modalities and equipment including ultrasound, E-stim, traction, and assistive devices
• Completion of required labs within 48-72 hours of contract signing is requested to ensure timely clearance for start
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mileage restriction
• Previous staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months and remain in good standing to be eligible for return
• First-time travelers may be considered
