American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital unit, requiring 1+ year of acute care experience and a South Carolina or Multistate Compact OT license.

Details

• Hospital-based acute inpatient occupational therapy unit
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required approximately 1-2 times per month
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
• Current South Carolina or Multistate Compact Occupational Therapist license required at start of contract (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification required
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Red scrub top with black scrub pants required

Additional Information

• Provide occupational therapy services to acute inpatient population
• Free parking available on-site
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted, as non-local candidates are prioritized
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application for facility approval
• During hurricane season (June through November), employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
