Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an inpatient acute care assignment, requiring an active Idaho PT license and prior inpatient-acute experience.

Details

• Inpatient acute care setting
• 4x12-hour day shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Graduate of a nationally accredited physical therapy program required
• Current Idaho Physical Therapy License required (license required if applicable)
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• Prior inpatient acute care experience required
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to maintain prolonged standing and/or sitting positions
• 2 current references required: 1 from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 from a peer or supervisor in the position's specialty within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating and assessing referred patients, formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with medical staff, case managers, social workers, and adjusters
• May supervise physical therapy assistants and aides
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
