American Traveler seeks a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification, Epic experience, and pediatric outpatient feeding experience for a 13-week assignment at a pediatric rehabilitation clinic in Hudson, NH.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric rehabilitation clinic setting
• Treats patients ages 3 months to 18 years with diagnoses including autism, expressive and receptive language disorders, and feeding disorders
• Treatment modalities include one-on-one therapy and parent/guardian consultation to develop home programs
• 40 hours per week: Mondays and Wednesdays 10:00 AM–6:30 PM; Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid and unrestricted New Hampshire SLP license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed SLP
• Outpatient clinic and pediatric setting experience required
• Pediatric feeding experience required
• Experience with thickening agents for dysphagia management required
• Experience with autism, dysarthria, apraxia, and compensatory techniques required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification preferred; only AHA or Red Cross certifications accepted
• Professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning for pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care and home programs in collaboration with parents and guardians
• Provide family education and support as a core component of treatment
• Preferred experience includes aural rehabilitation, TBI, hearing impairments, degenerative diseases, aphasia, dysphagia, and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC) devices
• First-time travelers will be considered if they have substantial SLP experience
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate
• Former employees of any facility associated with SolutionHealth are not eligible for this position, regardless of length of separation
