Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a night shift travel assignment in a hospital setting with specialized equipment including ECMO and Nitric Oxide therapy.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• No call or float requirements
• Specialized equipment includes Nitric Oxide therapy, ECMO, and bedside bronchoscopies
• Ventilators in use: Puritan Bennett 840 and 980
• BiPAP: Philips V60
• Transport vents: Pneutron, Newport, and Parapac
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and RRT
• Active Louisiana (LA) state license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Gray scrubs required
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO for this assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Any prior permanent employee of an LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
