American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a 12-week acute care hospital assignment in Temecula, CA, with acute care experience preferred.

• Acute care hospital setting in Temecula, CA
• Occupational Therapy unit
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Current CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an OT in an acute care facility preferred
• Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Two professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician
• Designs and implements individualized treatment programs for patients with varying degrees and types of disabilities and multiple medical problems
• Develops and instructs patients and families in customized home programs to support continued recovery
• Reports to the Manager of Rehabilitation
