American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with acute care experience for a 13-week inpatient hospital assignment in South Florida, working a Thursday–Monday day shift schedule.

Details

• Inpatient acute care/rehab hospital setting
• Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Thursday through Monday
• Patient population includes surgical, total joint, and neurological cases
• Responsibilities include patient/family education and home exercise program development

Requirements

• Current FL PT license or compact license required; license must be in hand for consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or inpatient rehab experience required
• BLS certification via AHA required; all certs must be current at time of consideration
• Experience with surgical patients, total joint, and neuro cases required
• Must be able to successfully complete a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review
• Proof of vaccination status required; declinations are not accepted

• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are considered, though a lower pay rate applies for those within that radius
