Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting in Hawaii, requiring at least 6 months of relevant adult care experience.

Details

• Setting includes primarily SNF and inpatient care, with some outpatient services
• Department provides 7-day-per-week coverage on a 5-day work week schedule
• Schedule may include one weekend day, with possible rotations of Sun–Thurs or Tues–Sat
• 8-hour variable shifts
• EMR system is Meditech

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of work experience with adults in at least one of the following settings: acute care, SNF, rehab hospital, or outpatient
• Active Hawaii PT license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed based on hospital operations

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include diagnostic assessment, preparation and implementation of individualized treatment plans, and delivery of physical therapy services across the full range of rehabilitation and habilitation cases
• May provide all therapy services for a unit or facility under general supervision
• Candidates must arrive at the facility the Friday prior to their start date to complete employee health and HR clearance — no exceptions
• Hawaii PT license must be in hand at the time of the employee health and HR clearance appointment
• Any candidate not currently holding an active Hawaii PT license must apply for one upon acceptance of the offer
