American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week Home Health assignment in the Fredericksburg, VA area, with a minimum of 1 year of home health or clinical experience required.

Details

• Home health setting serving patients 18 years and older
• Primary territory is Fredericksburg, with 1-2 days per week in the Falls Church area; specific coverage will be discussed during the interview
• Average caseload of 4-6 patients per day, with a minimum of 24-30 visits per week
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• No on-call requirements
• Weekends are not required, but may be available with advance notice
• Charting via Kinnser/WellSky; all charting must be completed on-site using a facility-provided tablet
• OASIS experience is preferred but not required
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate from first to last patient visit (does not include travel to or from home)
• Free residential parking available

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of home health or homecare experience; 1 year of overall clinical experience required
• Acute care background is a plus
• Active state PT license required; pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• No hits or restrictions on license
• Flu vaccination required; COVID vaccination declination is accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial application; no additional RTO will be accepted after an offer is made

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are eligible
• Business casual attire required; closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times
• Compliance documentation must be completed before the clinician can begin seeing patients, which may take 2–3 weeks
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration, along with a full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
• Ideal candidates are patient-focused, self-motivated, punctual, strong communicators, and diligent with same-day charting completion
