American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week day shift contract at a Critical Access Hospital in Pampa, TX, with a minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Details

• Position is based in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Occupational Therapy unit supports multiple service lines including Swing Beds, ICU, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, and a Cardiac Cath Lab
• Level IV Trauma Emergency Department on site
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
• Weekend coverage required per department needs
• Holiday coverage required per department needs
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• NBCOT certification required; AOTA and OTAC membership preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a COTA
• Date of birth (DOB) and Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs required; no specific color designated
• Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC resource
