American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Adult Rehab Services unit, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active PT license.

Details

• Adult Rehab Services unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include interpreting physician orders, evaluating patients, and formulating individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals
• Monitors and modifies treatment plans based on patient response throughout the course of care
• Involved in discharge planning and development of home exercise programs for patients
• Documents treatment sessions and patient progress in the medical record
• May supervise and assist PT students during clinical rotations depending on experience level
• Responsible for maintaining and cleaning department equipment
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation after 26 weeks of total contract time before being eligible to return
• This facility has strict compliance deadlines — candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance of an offer
