Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit, with first-time travelers welcome provided they have solid RT experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Day shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Current RRT credential with valid state license (license required if applicable)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications — all certs must be AHA-issued
• Experienced RTs required; new graduates will not be considered
• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position, provided they have substantial RT experience
• Upon assignment start, the unit manager may assign travelers to an Emergency Team, which may require staying at the facility through an emergency event or serving on a relief team
• Candidates should be comfortable with potential emergency event obligations before applying
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• Scrubs or dress code requirements were not specified — follow facility standards upon onboarding
