American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with 2+ years of acute inpatient rehab experience and an active Arizona license for a 13-week travel contract in Oro Valley, AZ.

Details

• Hospital-based acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, five days per week with two weekend days per month
• 13-week contract duration

Requirements

• Active Arizona PTA license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent PTA experience required; 2+ years of acute inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering patient treatments, managing referred patients, and providing discharge planning and patient/family/caregiver education
• Responsible for documentation of treatment progress and outcomes
• Participates in administrative duties and performance improvement initiatives
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past two years are not eligible for this position
