American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center in Bradenton, FL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and current NRP or STABLE certification.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy department of a 383-bed Level II Trauma Center
• Equipment used includes Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• EMR system is Meditech; experience preferred
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required, with holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff
• 13-week assignment duration

Requirements

• Active RRT license and certification required; license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, with active practice within the last 6 months
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP or STABLE
• All certifications must be issued by AHA or ARC and must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no exceptions; no Canadian SSNs accepted
• Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• ICU experience is preferred and will be prioritized during candidate review
• Grey scrubs are required for Respiratory Therapy staff
• Parking is available in an adjacent parking garage
