American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in Grapevine, TX, specializing in adult critical care.

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field (ASS/GAP) required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Adult critical care experience required
• Active TX RCP license required (if applicable)
• Current RRT credential required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only)
• Flu vaccination required; no exemptions accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Administer respiratory care services including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medications, airway clearance, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and bedside spirometry per physician orders
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in emergency situations
• Review physician orders, analyze diagnostic test results, and implement approved protocols as appropriate
• Assess and document patient response to therapy, report outcomes, and make clinical recommendations
• Instruct patients on the use of respiratory care equipment and coach proper technique
• Maintain accurate documentation of all treatments, supplies used, and corresponding charges
• Gray scrubs required
