American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a Home Health position covering Island County, WA, requiring OASIS and HCHB experience with a minimum of 1 year of recent PT experience.

Details

• Home health setting serving Island County, including Whidbey Island and Oak Harbor
• Territory coverage of up to a 60-mile radius from the main office/hub
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–5:00 PM); no weekend or on-call requirements
• Expected productivity of 6 visits daily and a minimum of 30 points per week
• Average patient load of 5–7 patients per day
• Patient population is primarily geriatric
• EMR: HCHB (experience required)
• OASIS experience required
• In-office attendance required at least once every one to two weeks for team meetings, supply pickup, and admission packets
• iPad provided for use in the field; cell phone not provided

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience required
• OASIS experience required
• HCHB EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Must be willing and able to travel within a 60-mile territory radius
• Timely documentation and strong communication skills required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
• Flexibility with territory coverage is expected
• All time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required, along with a full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
• Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
