American Traveler is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist with inpatient rehab/acute care experience for a 13-week travel contract in Waco, TX

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation and acute care hospital setting in Waco, TX
• AM shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• 13-week contract
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active TX OT license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient rehab or acute care
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree may substitute for experience requirements
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Date of birth and SSN required for consideration
• Flu shot required; no exemptions granted

Additional Information

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to facilitate rehabilitation
• Modify therapy programs and goals based on ongoing patient assessment
• Perform thorough clinical documentation and accurate charge entry in a timely manner
• Provide education and communication to patients, families, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Supervise support staff, students, and volunteers as part of clinical responsibilities
• Black scrubs required
• Virtual interview, 1 round
