American Traveler is seeking a PTA with at least 1 year of experience and LTC or SNF setting experience for a 13-week Long Term Care contract in Oregon, MO.

Details

• Long Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• Day shift, Monday through Friday with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, as coordinated with the Director of Rehabilitation
• 35 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• No weekends required unless a holiday falls on a weekday, in which case hours may be made up on the weekend
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active PTA license for Missouri; compact license accepted; license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required
• Experience in an LTC or SNF setting required
• 1 professional reference required for consideration
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation, modalities, and use of assistive and supportive devices
• Assess and document patient progress in the electronic documentation system in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements
• Communicate patient progress, barriers, and treatment plan updates to the supervising PT and broader care team
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and other required meetings and in-services
• May supervise and support PT students under the guidance of the supervising Physical Therapist
• No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
