American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week day shift contract at a long-term care/skilled nursing facility in Iowa.

Details

• Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) care setting
• Occupational Therapy unit serving SNF patients across two locations
• 8-hour day shifts with a flexible weekly schedule: Mon–Fri, Tue–Sat, or Sun–Thu
• 13-week contract with potential for extension
• No holiday coverage required
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Utilizes Net Health for electronic medical records
• Productivity expectation of 87% for assistants (group and concurrent time counted in full)
• Mileage and drive time between locations is compensated when traveling to both in a single day

Requirements

• Active COTA license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a COTA
• Net Health EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Position covers SNF services across two locations: Algona and Forest City
• New graduates will be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to an adjusted pay rate
• If facility-provided housing is used, local rates apply
